The Iyer lab works on the interface of solid-state chemistry and materials science.
Our research focuses on the discovery and development of novel inorganic chalcogenide materials with tailored optical, electronic, and magnetic properties. By integrating advanced synthetic chemistry, computational modeling, and machine learning, we accelerate the design of materials that address challenges in sustainable energy, environmental remediation, photonics, and quantum technologies.
